This time tomorrow...
…I’ll be in New Jersey, relaxing by the oceanfront with a book, listening to the waves on the shore. This mini-vacation could not come at a better time. I’m so looking forward to spending some time by myself. I have a lot of self-reflection to do (which, if you didn’t know, is one of my favorite things ever.) 8am mornings, coffee and feminist literature by the shore, perusing the shops by the oceanfront, venturing into small towns, laying poolside… I need this right now, maybe even more than I even know. Life has not dealt me the best cards recently, at all, but I’m hoping the next few days will be refreshing and relaxing.

I'm back from Pride!
I had such an amazing weekend in DC! It’s so uplifting to be around tens of thousands of people who support you for who you are. I feel so positive and encouraged!
Also, I just really love DC. Plus, my summer classes are done, the Democratic primary is tomorrow, and I’m making good headway on my internship with Planned Parenthood… life is nice right now.
AND I LEAVE FOR AMSTERDAM IN ONE MONTH AND ONE DAY
